Women's Right's vs. Fetal Rights.
maybe not work appropriate?
PBS poll on Palin. Do it
I can't decide if I think this is a redeeming fact or just makes me hate her more, but I can't stop laughing.
Sarah Palin's youngest child is names Trig Paxson Van Palin. It is Van Palin after the band Van Halen.

Although I hate the AP because they are messy, gross people and I had to clean up after them, Matt Damon is amazing:

I haven't been reading enough... but all the books that are on my reading list are heavy theory stuff.
what are some fun fiction-y things I should read?
what are some fun fiction-y things I should read?
Let me preface by saying that I am a little drunk...
and after reading a few, I kept thinking that I was happier then. Ok, maybe not happier, but it seems as thought I found a lot more joy in every day things. I giggled at the silliness of call to the museum a lot more often. I wrote on lj about fun things, rather than only writing to vent about about how stressed I am. Maybe I'm a little nostalgic, but I do remember feeling happier overall than I do right now.
I think that it is now my goal to relax, enjoy life, and to find happiness and laughter in my daily life.
That may sound hokey to a lot of people.. but it is something that I am lacking. I am constantly thinking about the next thing, how I will make rent, how I am going to afford to eat, when I will sleep, where I can schedule a shower (yeah, that's right! I need to schedule showers or they don't happen). And it has bogged me down. I don't know if it is the growing amount of sun, or the fact that my show opens tomorrow or the fact that I am unhappy and know that I am the only one with the power to change it, but I feel it. I feel a desire to change who I am.
This is my goal: be happier!

Tim Gunn, best known for the phrase "Make it work" on Project Runway, has been saying some sexist things about Clinton lately. The most recent one was on Conan, where is said that Hillary Clinton "is confused about what her gender is."
There has been a lot of hate and confusion thrown at Gunn from the feminist community. I'm not sure how I feel about this.
( Long rant about HC, Gunn and how America chooses its politicians )
I'm done, I’m moving to Denmark.
Mitt Romney was on Meet the Press this morning. He was talking about his illegal immigrant policies. they were ridiculous and he did not have any real answers. but, that aside, when asked about the report that he hired illegal immigrants to paint his house he said that there were two fallacies with that report; 1) He did not paint his house pink! he would never have a pink house! and 2) he hired a landscaper who unknowingly hired the illegal immigrants.
WTF? who cares about the color of the house? I only care about the fact that he does not have a workable plan for dealing with immigration into the US and the US's reliance on the exploitation of undocumented workers.

for all you Harry Potter fans
not that I really care, but I think that it's funny that she's done with the books and still talking about them.
